RBC Agency is the 3rd generation of the original Pearson Agency, owned and operated by Mr. Harry Pearson having begun in 1905.  Mr. Pearson employed a very progressive businesswoman of the times in Millie Bailey.  In 1935 Ms. Bailey leveraged a purchase of the agency from Mr. Pearson and began to grow the agency in a fashion much like it enjoys today.  In 1945 Ms. Bailey brought in her sister’s husband Bob Craig as a partner and thus became the Bailey & Craig Agency, a continuation of the long respected tradition of high quality client service, providing primarily personal lines of insurance protection. 

Upon his graduation from the University of Arkansas in 1975, Bob’s son Robert returned to Shawnee and joined the agency.  A highly decorated athlete and accomplished scholar, Robert quickly endeared himself to those in the community with his keen sense of people and witty personality, continuing the growth of the agency in not only premium volume but stature as “the leaders” in the insurance sector of Shawnee and surrounding areas.

With already a long and accomplished career in the insurance industry, Will Rosebure purchased Bailey & Craig in 1994 in the later days of Robert’s bout with a terminal brain tumor.  While Will and Robert had known each other in the industry circles, it was their common cousin, Jeanette Bradshaw that connected them personally.  Sensing the severity of his health status, Robert sought Gerald Bradshaw and Sara Bradshaw Ray’s assistance in successfully selling the agency prior to his death.  During the early days of the transition Sara consulted monthly with Will and the agency personnel on their new computer system and other agency management strategies.

Also in 1994 Kyle Rosebure joined the agency, first in Personal Lines, then quickly honing his skills and expertise in Commercial Lines as a successful producer, more than doubling the book of business in a relatively short period of time and switching the volume predominance to commercial lines.

While the relationship between Rosebure, Bailey & Craig and the Bradshaw Agency has had far reaching family ties for 2 generations, it wasn’t until 1998 when their formal relationship began by combining under the cluster organization, Centre Group LLC. 

The Bradshaw Agency is the second generation of the H.C. Campbell Agency that was established in 1926 by Mr. H.C. Campbell.  Mr. Campbell was very active in the community and church as well as a committed family man.  His success is attributed to these fine moral and professional qualities that have become the cornerstone and core values of the Bradshaw Agency.

Mr. Campbell helped launch Claude A. Bradshaw’s more than 50 year career with Mutual of New York, which was also the beginning of his association with his son, Gerald E. Bradshaw.  In 1949 Gerald, a returning veteran and recent business graduate of Oklahoma A&M, joined Mr. Campbell, later purchasing the agency in 1952. 

In November of 1988 Sara Bradshaw Ray left a commercial underwriting position with USF&G and joined that agency as a Commercial Lines principal, concentrating on growing the commercial lines portion of the agency to the predominance it enjoys today.

In 2006 Rosebure, Bailey & Craig and the Bradshaw Agency merged their two organizations into one, capitalizing on the strengths of the three principals, Will, Kyle and Sara and knowing that their combined efforts would be much more successful in the ever-dynamic current of the insurance industry.  The legal name of Rosebure, Bailey & Craig was changed to RBC Agency Inc. and a trade name for the Stillwater office was filed as The Bradshaw Agency to capitalize on the franchise value of the heritage and reputation in Stillwater and the surrounding communities.

The agency prides itself in maintaining the highest level of quality service and products with the use of the latest version of the Applied Systems Agency Manager software, superior expertise of our staff and sharing the same commitment to excellence with all of our industry leading companies.

The RBC management team conducts an annual SWOT analysis, reviews the agency goals and action plans for relevance, adherence to established insurance industry Best Practices Standards.
